Samples for Employers

This booklet is part of the SAFETEEN kit, which was designed to help Maine employers and teen workers understand the responsibilities and requirements of workplace safety and health.

Visit the safeteen website to order materials and/or download information.

The U.S. Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division is making available special stickers which employers may place on hazardous equipment to alert all workers that no one under 18 years of age may operate the equipment. The stickers are available from your local Wage and Hour Division Office to be placed on equipment such as forklifts, powered equipment, or bakery machines.
